EVENT SALEs INTERNSHIP

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our company focusing on cycling, outdoor and active brands. The right candidate has sales experience in the bicycle industry (or a relatable outdoor industry) or events. Experience with and knowledge of a cycling event or other events would be advantageous, but not necessary.

Essential Responsibilities:

-Assist in the development of sales presentations and executive summaries for potential sponsors

-Designs customized sponsorship packages in line with the marketing goals and objectives of existing sponsors and prospects

-Manages contract administration of sponsorship deals

-Ensures contracts are fully executed and on file

-Manage sponsorship activation for multiple accounts, which entails coordinating internally, communicating an overall deliverables plan, managing deadlines, and trafficking required creative materials and messaging

-Execute event weekend sponsorship fulfillment through event in coordination with the operations

-Assists Sales and Partnership Team with post-event

-Sponsorship fulfillment, including gathering sponsorship photos, clips, and screen-grabs, maintaining updated tracking documents and working with marketing team to produce recap decks

-Light administrative responsibilities as needed

-Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

-Occasional nights and weekends required

Qualifications:

-Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environment with a “can-do” attitude

-Proven and effective presentation skills

-Must be able to work effectively within the organization with various departments, as well as external contacts

-Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

-Keen attention to detail

-Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
